Mindset Coaching for Leaders

You’re not tired from the work. You’re tired from the voice running it.

One on one coaching for executives, founders and high performing professionals. Neuroplasticity and twenty years of Tibetan Buddhist practice, in plain English, applied to the life you actually have.

Start with a conversation

11:40 pm

The deal is fine.

The team is fine.

The numbers are fine.

And you’re lying in the dark, rewriting a conversation from three o’clock.

Again.

That isn’t a character flaw. It’s a habit of mind, and habits of mind can be retrained. That’s what neuroplasticity means. It’s also what Tibetan meditators have been doing, very precisely, for about 2,500 years.

Every pattern you’re stuck in runs the same loop.

01

Trigger

Something happens. An email, a tone of voice, a number on a screen.

Where we work02

Story

Your mind decides what it means. Fast, convincing, and usually wrong.

03

Reaction

You act on the story before you notice it was a story.

04

Cost

Sleep, patience, trust, and the conversation you never had.

Most coaching works on the reaction: better habits, better scripts. That helps for a few weeks. We go one step earlier, to the story, because that’s where the pattern actually lives.

How we work

Three moves. Repeated until they’re yours.

01

See it.

We map what runs your days: where your attention goes, what sets you off, and what it’s costing you. Most people have never actually looked.

02

Train it.

Short, specific practices, five to fifteen minutes, built into the day you already have. No retreat, no cushion required, no app streak to keep alive.

03

Live it.

We test it where it counts: the negotiation, the hard conversation, the kitchen at 7am. Then we adjust until it holds under pressure.

What people start to notice

Not overnight. But sooner than they expected.

Less

  • Replaying conversations at night
  • Reacting before you’ve decided to
  • Sunday night dread
  • Being busy and absent at the same time

More

  • Sleep that actually rests you
  • A pause between what happens and what you do
  • Decisions you don’t keep reopening
  • Being fully in the room, at work and at home

Who you’d be working with

I’m not a monk, and I’m not a guru.

I’ve spent over a decade in New York City real estate, running and managing sales teams for the last six. I know what pressure feels like from the inside, and I know which practices still work when you’re in the middle of it. I’m Javier, and this is the work I care about most.

“What Javier helped me realize is that many of the problems I was trying to solve externally were being amplified internally. Through his guidance, I learned practical tools for observing my mind, understanding my reactions, and creating space between pressure and response.”

“What impressed me most was that this wasn’t abstract spirituality.”

How it works

A first conversation

Thirty minutes, free. We talk about what’s going on and whether this is a fit. If I’m not the right person for it, I’ll tell you.

Sessions

Every week or every other week, on Zoom or in person in New York City. Each one pairs a real conversation with a practice you can use the next morning.

In between

One practice at a time, chosen for the week you’re actually having. Nothing to read, nothing to memorize.

Start with a conversation. That’s all.

Tell me a little about what’s going on. I’ll get back to you personally so we can find a time to talk.
